Tax cuts benefit the poor
I’ve been thinking a lot about tax cuts today. Every time conservatives suggest that we cut taxes, Democrats come out with the soundbyte ” Stop Tax cuts for the rich.” They say this in an effort to divide rich and poor and convince the poor to support them in continual taxation.
However, our tax system is an income tax system. It taxes people on what they earn with their hard work. Those that are rich are going to remain rich regardless of whether the taxes are cut or raised. It only taxes people on what is earned, not on wealth.
If you earn around $31,000 a year this year, which most people would say is rather poor or maybe lower middle class, you would have to work through March to pay off your taxes. That means you would have to work Three Months to pay off the government! So unless Democrats believe that $31,000 a year is rich, I can’t see how tax cuts wouldnt be very welcome among these people.
Tax cuts dont benefit the rich. They benefit those who work. The people who are already rich arent effected by taxation at all. They are the ones who support tax increase for the so-called rich. Because if they tax the people who are innovative, work hard, and recieve a just compensation with it there will be more poor who will become rich. The more rich there is the less important their wealth will be. They will be less powerful because other people who have rose up and earned money by following the American dream will challenge their power. Politicians, particularly Democrat politicians, all fall within the wealthy. They will be wealthy regardless whether taxes are cut or increased. The point of keeping taxes high is so that they will keep the poor and middle class people from rising up and challenging their power base.
Taxes are all about power. The higher the taxes, the more power the people who already have money will retain. The lower the taxes, the more power people will have because they will:
1)Have more control over their own money and be inspired to work harder because its easier to keep the money they are
2)They will be less likely to need government assistance, that hurts the politicians in power.
3)People will create new jobs with extra money that they might not have without it.
Taxes has everything to do with power, and nothing to do with benefiting the poor.
